A brow lift is a cosmetic procedure designed to rejuvenate the appearance of the forehead and eyebrow area. As we age, the skin and muscles in this region can lose elasticity, leading to wrinkles, sagging, and an overall tired or aged appearance. A brow lift can help to restore a more youthful, refreshed look while hiding the incisions amidst the hair.
Ideal candidates for a brow lift are generally healthy individuals who have sagging or low eyebrows that create a tired, sad, or angry appearance or excess skin or wrinkles in the upper eyelids.

There are several techniques for performing a brow lift, and the incision type will depend on your individual needs and goals. The most common techniques include incisions hidden at or behind the hairline, but the specific technique is patient-dependent. - Lifting and Repositioning
Through the incisions, the surgeon will lift the forehead tissues to create a smoother, more youthful appearance and reposition the eyebrows into an aesthetic location. Excess skin may be removed if necessary. - Closure
The incisions are closed with sutures. The sutures are removed within 1 week following the procedure. - Recovery
After the procedure, you may experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort in the treated area. Your surgeon will provide you with detailed post-operative care instructions and pain management options. Most patients can return to work and normal activities within 1 week, although strenuous exercise should be avoided for several weeks.
